More than 60,000 deaths worldwide from coronavirus

The coronavirus pandemic has killed at least 60,000 human beings worldwide, almost 3 quarter three of them in Europe, since it emerged in China in December, in line with a tally compiled via AFP at 1330 GMT Saturday from reliable sources.
A total of 60,457 deaths were recorded, inclusive of 44,132 in Europe, the continent worst hit by way of the virus.
