3 EU countries restricts flights from England as a new type of coronavirus spreads

After a new type of coronavirus cases started to appear in England, some countries in the Europe Union have imposed restrictions on flights arriving from Britain.
The step is being taken by several other countries in the region to protect their citizens from the new type of coronavirus that has been reportedly spreading in England.
France has prohibited all travel from Britain for the next 48 hours from midnight on Sunday. The Prime Minister's Office made an announcement and stated that people going to Britain would not be affected by it. Although people can go to Britain from France, people will not be able to travel from Britain to France for the next 48 hours.
After France, Germany has also halted flights coming from Britain. The German government stated that it is stopping flights coming from Britain.
Besides this, the Netherlands have become the third country in the region to ban flights arriving from Britain by the end of this year. Belgium has also announced a ban on UK flights from Sunday midnight to the next 24 hours. Also, the movement of UK rail services has also been stopped.
Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo said on Sunday that he was "as a precaution" stopping flights from the UK for the next 24 hours from midnight.
Austria and Italy have also announced to ban flights coming from Britain. However, they have not given much information on this yet.
Italy's Foreign Minister Luigi de Mayo said on Twitter that the government is taking necessary steps to protect the residents of the country from the new type of Coronavirus.
The Czech Republic has also announced isolation measures for people coming from Britain.
The UK has again imposed a lockdown on Sunday in London and Southeast England as the new coronavirus cases are emerging rapidly. The lockdown is a part of Boris Johnson’s attempt to control a fast-spreading new strain of the coronavirus.
