Entire generation of Trinidad and Tobago will be left behind because of PNM, says Anita Haynes

Trinidad and Tobago: Member of Parliament from Tabaquite constituency Anita Haynes took a dig at the current government of T&T on Monday at Virtual Report of United National Congress. Ms. Haynes stated that instead of making education more accessible to the children of the nation, this People's National Movement-government has increased the challenges the country experience.  READ MORE NEWS HERE She stated that UNC believes that the most important investment that a government can make is in the people of the country, and she noted that the current PNM government has been operating otherwise. "There can be no doubt that COVID-19 has set us back; the visionless and backward policies of the PNM government have only worsened our positions in the pandemic," added Anita Haynes. READ MORE NEWS HERE She stated that an entire generation of Trinidad and Tobago would be left behind because of the policies of the current People's National Movement-government being led by Prime Minister Keith Rowley.  Furthermore, she stated that the ministry of education's current approaches are rubbing the potential of the students, and consequences would be felt by their grandchildren.  "Poor planning, lack of consultation, and chaotic rollout have left our students, parents, confused and angry," added Member of Parliament from Tabaquite constituency.

The opposition party have been showing its aggression agains the Prime Minister Keith Rowley and his government for poor management of coronavirus cases and severe genocide against women in Trinidad and Tobago.

The opposition claims that the government have failed at all fronts to ensure the safety and security of people of Trinidad and Tobago and continue to move ahead with their reckless programmes and polices which the opposition believes is taking backwards the people of the country.

Former Prime Minister Kamala Persuad had also condemned the action of People's National Movement-government.
