Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Keith Rowley distributed laptops seven different schools in his constituency.

Trinidad and Tobago: PM Keith Rowley distribute laptops to seven schools
Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Keith Rowley distributed laptops to schools in his constituency. These laptops were presented to the Principals and Vice Principals on behalf of Dr Rowley by members of his constituency office staff, Mr Krishna Salick and Former Senator; Ms Yokymma Bethelmy. The school that received the devices was the Diego Martin Boys' R.C Primary School and the Diego Martin Girls' R.C Primary School. The Diego Martin West Constituency thanked the Prime Minister Keith Rowley for his continued dedication to the education and development of our young people. The computers will be placed at computer labs at the following schools:
  • Point Cumana Government Primary School
  • Carenage Girls' Government Primary School
  • Carenage Boys' Government Primary School
  • Point Cumana R.C. Primary School
  • La Puerta Government Primary School
  • Diego Martin Girls' R.C. Primary School
  • Diego Martin Government Primary School
Besides this, on Wednesday, Prime Minister Rowley officially opened the second cycle of the Chaguaramas Development Authority’s Junior Golfing Programme, held at the Chaguaramas Golf Course. The programme which was successfully launched in 2019 has now been expanded to both primary and secondary students from the district of Carenage and environs. The Junior Golfing Programme is expected to allow the young participants the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game and also instil in them the values of self-improvement techniques, etiquette, problem-solving skills and emotional intelligence. The cycle which comprises eight beginner sessions will be conducted by certified trainers attached to the Professional Golf Association. During the opening ceremony, Minister of Planning and Development, Pennelope Beckles was also in attendance.
