CARICOM and FIFA signs MOU aiming at strengthening collaboration
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)was signed between FIFA and Caribbean Community (CARICOM) on Monday to strengthen their collaboration.

He noted that he is happy to see the countries acknowledge the opportunities football can bring in terms of social benefits for communities.

CARICOM Secretary-General Irwin LaRocque also welcomed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). He said many countries in the CARICOM have been utilizing sports as a transformative agent. [caption id="attachment_35080" align="aligncenter" width="409"]
"The cultural, health and economic interests of sport are well recognized and sponsored in our region. The cooperation with organizations such as FIFA would assist in enhancing our goals of strengthening our youth, in particular, to pursue healthy lifestyles while enjoying the benefits of a sport like a football," said CARICOM Secretary-General Irwin LaRocque.
