St Lucia: PM Philip J. Pierre recovers from COVID-19
Prime Minister of St Lucia Philip J. Pierre has been discharged from the quarantine by the medical professionals after recovering from COVID.

While sharing the news of his recovery from COVID-19 infection, Prime Minister Pierre, through his Facebook post, cited that this is his first day out of isolation and pledges to continue complying with the public health protocols. He added," I urge people to wear the mask in public, maintain physical distance and use sanitiser regularly".
On Monday, Prime Minister Pierre has attended the cheque handover ceremony by St Lucia Electricity Services Limited to the Social Assistance Fund (LUCELEC) in the amount of $450,000, where he declared about his recovery and noted," On this day of love and my first day out of quartine period I was honoured to be part of this cheque handover ceremony."
PM Pierre also thanked LUCELEC for the timely and generous donation. He further emphasised that the money would be used to aid the most vulnerable people in the society of St Lucia.
Prime Minister Pierre was undergone a quarantine period after getting exposed to the novel coronavirus on February 8, 2022. He remained asymptomatic in the period of isolation.In isolation, Prime Minister was sticking to his work in the interest of the people of St Lucia, as per the official reports.
Prime Minister Pierre was fully vaccinated against the viral infection of the novel coronavirus and has also received booster shots of the vaccine.
In addition to that, he also urged the citizens of the country to get fully immunised against the COVID-19 pandemic as soon as possible and asserted that it is the only solution to protect themselves and their loved ones.
While thanking everyone, Prime Minister underscored," I wished than you to everyone who has sent their blessings and greeting for my recovery during the period of isolation.
