The Ministry of Health and Genders Affairs St Kitts and Nevis is making all attempts to safeguard people from COVID-19. In the recent announcement, officials will be distributing facemasks in the St Paul's Parish.

Latoya Jeffers- Assistant Secretary Minister of Gender Affairs Nevis stated that the distribution would be done on 20 October and 21 October. He said people could benefit from the mask distribution drive from 9 am to 1 pm onwards at the Red Cross Building.

Furthermore, he stated the ministry plans to run a similar drive in the upcoming week, where distributions will be done on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm at the same situation.

The Ministry of Health is distributing free masks to help vulnerable people gain protection against coronavirus. Even though the graph of new COVID-19 infections declined in St Kitts and Nevis, wearing a face mask, maintaining social distancing is still mandatory.

St Kitts and Nevis recorded around 2,574 cases of COVID-19 since the beginning of 202. Around 21 people also lost life to the deadly viral disease.
