Basseterre: St Kitts and Nevis is expecting four cruise calls this week. The government is calling it a remarkable achievement for the destination after the resumption of cruise tourism. The Ministry, particularly since the Ministry of Tourism and the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, have worked tirelessly with the Ministry of Health and the COVID-19 Task Force and our stakeholders to identify protocols and strategies for the safe and sustainable resumption of the cruise. As per reports, Aida Sol is likely to dock at the Port Zante on Tuesday, while Britannia will berth on Wednesday, followed by Aida Luna and Seabourn Odyssey on Thursday.

St Kitts and Nevis is expecting a total of 27 cruise calls in November 2021. Tourism Minister Lindsay Grant stated that the cruise ships are expecting to visit in 18-days, making a visit every week.

Since the closure of tourism in March 2020, St Kitts and Nevis will be receiving two ships on a single day on November 4.

Earlier during a press briefing, Minister Grant said around 71,775 passengers are expected to visit St Kitts and Nevis this tourism season. All cruise ships are due to arrive under COVID-19 protocols to ensure the safety of all.
