Whole world including US should help Taliban, says China
Chinese FM Wang Yi has said that in view of changed situation in Afghanistan, it has become necessary that all countries should establish contact with Taliban.

According to news agency, Wang Yi also raised the issue of helping the Taliban-led Afghan government.
He has said that the US needs to work with the international community to provide much needed economic, humanitarian and livelihood support to Afghanistan.
Wang Yi said this is necessary so that the new political structure helps maintain the normal operation of government institutions, maintain social security and stability, curb currency depreciation and inflation, and begin the journey of the peaceful reconstruction as soon as possible.In this conversation, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi questioned the American victory in Afghanistan.
Wang said the facts show that the goal of eliminating terrorist forces in Afghanistan was never achieved through the Afghanistan War.
He said that after the hasty withdrawal of NATO forces from Afghanistan, the possibility of many terrorist organizations getting an opportunity to regroup in Afghanistan has arisen.
Wang called on the US to selectively fight terrorism, instead of adopting a dual approach, by taking concrete steps to help Afghanistan combat violence and terrorism while respecting its sovereignty and independence.Wang Yi, while commenting on Sino-US relations, said that his government will take into account America's stance towards China while shaping relations with America.
He has said that there is better communication than conflict and better cooperation than conflict and that the Chinese government will decide its relations with America on the basis of the stand taken by the US towards China.
He said that if America wants to bring bilateral relations back on track, then it should stop blindly tarnishing the image of China and attacking it. And, harm to China's sovereignty, security and development interests must stop.Latest
