Dominica and Belgium established diplomatic ties in 1980. Since then, both countries have shown a great friendship to each other. However, there is not much trade between the two countries. Dominica currently has two embassies in Europe, in Belgium and United Kingdom.  The consular department of the Dominican Embassy in Brussels offers consular services. The consular department, in general, provide services for travellers from Belgium to Dominica as well as for Dominican citizens in Belgium. Typically, services comprise visa applications, passport renewals, marriage registration, legalization of documents, the birth of a child, Dominican nationality issues and more. Contact the consular department directly by telephone or email.
