Trinidad: Teen shoots farmer to death amid physical fight
Trinidad and Tobago: A 17-year-old male has been suspected of killing a fisherman in the Penal area. According to the reports, the victim has been identified as 44-year-old Tyrell Karim of Lamy Trace in Morne Diablo. According to the reports, officials have launched a manhunt for the teenager who is suspected to have caused this brutal crime. The police said that the fisherman got into a confrontation with the teen around 9 am on Saturday.

It was reported that the two got into a physical fight, during which the victim attacked the 17-year-old with a knife, which resulted in him getting injured. Following this, the suspect retaliated by shooting Karim in the chest, which resulted in his death.

Reportedly, the teenager ran to the back of the house and came back with a gun before firing several shots at the now-deceased.

Following the incident, the neighbours rushed Karim to the nearest hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries even before reaching the hospital.

The teenager left the crime scene bleeding, and he walked into some bushes off the roadway.

It is being reported that Karim was one of the three men who got killed south of the island between the night of April 5 and the morning of April 6 in different incidents.

There were reported killings in Fyzabad and Marabella, and the victims were identified as Darren Young, also called “Porky,” of Colley Street, Fyzabad and Kellon Benjamin, 34, of Ridgewood Gardens, Golconda.

The recent killings have sent a shockwave across Trinidad and Tobago, with residents condemning the incident and urging the officials to get hold of the criminal.
