Monday, 9th August 2021

St Lucia: On Sunday, St Lucia's Ministry of Health and Wellness received confirmation from the Ezra Long Laboratory of 58 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the country.

It comes from a batch of 359 samples taken during the period August 3 to August 7. These samples were processed on 7 August. Currently, one of the active cases requires critical care in the respiratory hospital. The new COVID-19 cases bring the total number of cases diagnosed in the country to 5837.

As of August 7, a total of 32,810 individuals had received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 25,543 individuals had received the second dose.
