St Kitts and Nevis: Deputy PM welcomes Youth Month

Shawn Richards, deputy prime minister and minister of youth in St Kitts and Nevis, makes an address at the start of Youth Month.
A month of activities is planned to "celebrate the youth of our federation" during November, he said.
In the St Kitts and Nevis Information Service video, the St Christopher number five MP state that approximately 40% of the country was below the age of 30 – and thus legally defined as youth.
"It is the goal of the Youth Month of activities to celebrate the achievements of the youth, bring awareness to the issues faced by the youth, and in some measure to offer actives and programmes that begin to address some of these issues," Richards said.
