Former Prime Minister awarding Nekisha Frazier with "Woman of the year award"
Former Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Dr. Denzil L. Douglas honoured Nekisha Frazier with a "woman of the year award". She was awarded on 'International Women's Day." Dr. Douglas shared the images on his Facebook page and stated that he salutes constituency number 4 resident Nekisha Frazier.  Nekisha Frazier was born in Nevis to Ishaw Frazier and Clement Greene.  She spent her early childhood in Nevis then moved with her family to St. Kitts. She attended Verchild’s High School, where she graduated in 2012 and completed her studies in Office Administration at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College in 2014. Sadly, she lost her father in her late teens and lost her mother, just four days shy of her 22nd birthday. Inevitably, Nekisha now had to assume the responsibilities of both mother and father to her younger siblings. Nekisha is known to have loves sports, in particular football, and was also a member of the National Under 17 Female Football Team. She also has a passion and love for children, and in afternoons she assists them with their studies. Her community work involved her becoming the Chairperson of a community group called Youth in Action, where they encouraged young persons to be positive role models in the community.  Douglas stated that Nekisha's passion for community development continued, and she helps revive Young Labour in Constituency #4. She then became the Young Labour representative for Constituency #4 and is currently a member of the National Young Labour group. Former PM stated that constituency #4 is pleased to present its honouree, Nekisha Frazier, for International Women’s Day for the work she has done in the Constituency. Nekisha is about to be a mom, and we just want to congratulate her on her new journey as we are about to welcome a new member to the Labour family.
