Saint Lucia Tourism Manager Richard Moss shares island's insights on CBS News

The Senior Sales Manager in New York for the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, Richard Moss, spilt all the tea on this amazing destination during a recent show on the American channel CBS News.

Moss shared insights and information about the breathtaking beauty, vibrant culture, and unique experiences that make Saint Lucia a must-visit location.

During the show, he revealed that whether an individual is seeking pristine beaches, lush landscapes or exciting cultural events, Saint Lucia has something for every traveller.

Richard Moss also highlighted that Saint Lucia is the only country named for a woman and that the island is absolutely gorgeous. He added, "She has a time capsule of natural wonders, so you really have to come. And it's so easy to get there, too."

The Senior Sales Manager told the ways of getting to the beautiful island and said that JetBlue flies nonstop daily, and the island is actually added a second JetBlue flight for increased convenience, which is going to be an evening departure.

"And it's going to be amazing. JetBlue nonstop to Saint Lucia. Four hours and you're there. So have breakfast here in New York and then lunch in Paradise," outlined Richard Moss.

While stating reasons why the island is known as the most romantic on the planet, he stated that there are gorgeous beaches, landscapes and, more than anything else, it is a chocolate island.

The island offers chocolate-infused massage, which takes couples to a whole new world.

The SLTA representative further added, "There's a vibrant culture. We celebrate our music and our heritage. Our jazz festival is actually coming up this year in May. And we're going to have some amazing headliners on that, including Babyface, Samara Joy, John Sacada, and so many more."

Saint Lucia also has the world's only drive-in volcano, which is home to the mud bath, the Fountain of Youth, said Moss while mocking, "So you're going to look and feel ten years younger. That's my secret, right? The drive-in volcano."

He also stressed on various luxury resorts in Saint Lucia such as Coconut Bay Beach Resort, Zoetry Marigot Bay, the Body Holiday, Sandals Resorts and others.

Moss added that visitors can either take the helicopter to get to their resort from the airport and can indulge in ferry experiences while sainting around the pitons with a beer.

"You go make your own chocolate. This is the ultimate high-quality Caribbean vacation experience," he added while stating that it is indeed the best honeymoon destination for couples.
