Saint Lucia is all set to celebrate its 45th Independence with the series of events from January 28 to April 6, 2024, under the theme, “Douvan Ansanm: Building a nation through unity, Resilience and Creativity.”
This exciting array of events, celebrations, and activities will bring the communities together and encourage them to participate with pride in the 45th Independence celebrations.
These events will be organised in an effective partnership with the Ministry of Tourism in Saint Lucia, the Government of Saint Lucia and OPM Saint Lucia.
The celebration will be opened on January 28 with an independence Bato Relay, which will be organised at the Forestierre Playing Field in the Morning. Following this, the other events are scheduled from February 1 to April 6 and will be conducted at different venues with the given dates and information.
On Monday, the official 45 National and Fringe Calendar of Activities for 2024 was released via social media handles. The organisers have invited the people and encouraged them to grace the event with their presence. "Be part of this year’s celebrations! There’s something for everyone," they added.
