PM Mitchell expresses delight over progress in his legacy project at Dragon Bay area

The construction of the Vendor's Booth and Interpretation centre, along with the upgrade of the bathroom facility, has been going on the site.
While presenting his satisfaction on the progress of the work, Prime Minister Mitchell cited," I am quite happy to see the progress of work to enhance the Dragon Bay area Vendors' Booth and Interpretation Centre and the upgrade of the bathroom facility".
The Beausejour Eco-Development Association, a community-based organisation that was officially incorporated in 2019, has executed the project. The association was established with the vision of improving communities in the Saint George northwest constituency.
By signifying the project, PM Mitchell underscored that the project had boosted the development of the community, and he expressed his desire to see similar examples of community initiatives across the country.
Grenada PM further stressed that the Dragon Bay is a special area taking into consideration its history, and its enhancement forms part of a wider project that include the Beausejour area.
"We realise the tremendous importance of this community, this area and the value. So, when we see the opportunity with the culture park, there is the beauty of the place for tourism activity. The fact that we can train people for a serious livelihood in this area and development," Prime Minister added.
Grenada Prime Minister further applauded the members of the Beausejour Eco-Development Association for their initiative in spearheading this project. During his visit, PM Mitchell expressed to the people's Republic of China for their generous support for the community-based initiative.David John of the people's Republic of China is the contractor for the project and informed that the vendor's booth is set to be completed within a week, while the bathroom facilities will be completed in the next three weeks.
