St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew along with his wife Diani Jimesha Prince volunteered to enhance the Joseph N France General Hospital's foyer (entrance). The development was part of the Cable's 40th Anniversary Community Project - JNF Hospital Lobby Renovation.
They were accompanied by Minister Konris Maynard and several members of the hospital staff on Saturday who worked collaboratively in a bid to complete the rehabilitation soon.
While sharing glimpses of the development, PM Drew said, "Yesterday, my wife and I joined The Cable, TDC Group of Companies, Berger Paints, Konris G M Maynard and members of the JNF staff as we volunteered for the enhancement of the JNF foyer (entrance)."
He added that this was part of the tremendous work that is being done to enhance the hospital aesthetically and to improve the healthcare service to the people of St Kitts and Nevis.
"This is part of improving healthcare service to our people, which they deserve, on our way to accreditation," outlined PM Drew.

The First Lady Diani Prince also took to Facebook to express her willingness in working again at the hospital. She said that she felt grateful to join her husband PM Drew in volunteering at the Joseph N France General Hospital, where major work is underway to enhance the hospital.
"I look forward to volunteering again soon. I'm also now a top-class painter, thanks to all of the tips from the hardworking members of the team," she added.
The glimpses showed the leaders engaged in painting the walls of the hospital, which shows their commitment towards the people and the country as a whole.
Notably, it was a combined effort of the Government, The Cable, TDC, Dream Works Design, Crown Prints, Vaughn's Construction & Design, Thomas Duke Architecture, Dianne Angela Designs, and Isaac Professional Services to lighten up and beautify the entrance of the JNF Hospital.
As the government leaders shared the development on their Facebook accounts, the citizens and residents of St Kitts and Nevis lauded them, while some even said that such work had never been done by the former government.
"This is history in the making. I have never seen such volunteer work ever done by the former government, where you witnessed the PM. Dr Terrance Drew, as well as The Man For #3 Konris G. Maynard," wrote a user named Denfield Edmeade, while another user said, "Keep up the good work, PM Dr Drew. You and your young labour government are doing some positive things in this country that some people will like us to forget about."
