St Kitts and Nevis is gearing up to host the highly anticipated Nevis to St Kitts Cross Channel Swim on April 6th, 2024.

St Kitts and Nevis is gearing up to host the highly anticipated Nevis to St Kitts Cross Channel Swim on April 6th, 2024. The exciting challenge will offer the visitors to swim from one Island to another, relax and explore the unlimited adventures on the shores of the Island.
This time, the cross-channel swim will be celebrating its 23rd anniversary on the Island. The Ministry of Tourism in Nevis unveiled the event schedule earlier on Wednesday. The Ministry also appealed to the communities to save and mark their dates on their calendars and register to book their spots immediately.

As per the Ministry, the Nevis to St Kitts Cross Channel Swim Challenge attracts hundreds of open water swimmers worldwide to one of the most unspoilt and relaxing islands in the Caribbean yearly.
The swim itself crosses the “Narrows,” a strait that separates not only St Kitts from Nevis, but also the Caribbean Sea from the Atlantic Ocean, making this a unique ocean swim.
The Naturalistic Island of Nevis is a perfect blend of vividly green with Blue Skies, Clean air and long empty beaches. It has a gentle pace of life that encourages visitors to stop and appreciate the natural beauty around them.
Schedule for Nevis to St Kitts Cross Channel Swim Challenge 2024:
- 6:30 AM- Boat from St Kitts depart for Nevis
- 6:45 AM: Boat arrives at Oualie Beach resort
- 7 AM: Bag drop open
- 7:40 AM: Briefing, Oualie Beach, Nevis
- 8 AM: Start, Oualie Beach, Nevis
- 9 AM: First swimmers finish in St Kitts from approx 9 AM
- 11 AM: Event ends (3hr cut-off time)
- 11 AM: Awards ceremony
