JetBlue announces second daily flight from New York to Saint Lucia

The Tourism Authority of Saint Lucia announced an additional flight of JetBlue from New York to Saint Lucia. This second daily flight will begin from June 13, 2024.

This evening flight will depart at 6 pm and will be available through July 23, 2024. This additional service from JetBlue will ease travellers from New York during the peak holiday season in Spring 2024.

While announcing the exciting development, the SLTA said, “JetBlue is taking your New York to Saint Lucia journey to new heights with a second daily service from JFK. Starting June 13, 2024, you can now catch the evening flight at 6:00 PM, adding more flexibility to your travel plans.” It further urged the passengers not to miss the opportunity and experience the beauty of Saint Lucia with JetBlue’s enhanced flight options and added, “Book your tickets now and embark on your tropical adventure.” The Tourism Authority is working continuously to expand travel options, further attracting more tourists from across the world to Saint Lucia.

Presently, out of the United States, Saint Lucia welcomes daily direct flights with JetBlue from New York’s JFK and weekly flights from New Jersey with United Airlines and JetBlue.

During a recent interview, Tourism Minister Ernest Hilaire also remarked that the SLTA remains deeply committed to fostering collaborations and nurturing partnerships with its esteemed US airline counterparts.

He added that through continued cooperation and dialogue, all entities are poised to construct a prosperous and sustainable future that will be fortified by seamless connections as well as memorable travel experiences.

In addition to this, the second flight of JetBlue is being lauded by various travellers around the world who will not find it easy to travel in the evening.

One user named Sherrilee Charlemagne took to Facebook and said, “Thank God. That am flight was too early lol. Edit, didn't realize it was temp lol,” while another said, “Twice daily from JFK, perfect for finding a flight to suit your plans!”
