Meanwhile, several citizens of Jamaica hailed the ones who captured the reptile though their social media accounts. “All I can say is that many Jamaican men/women are truly brave. They rarely back from challenges,” wrote a user named Vivienne McEwan while another user said, “All wild life should stay in their habitats where they are made to live and survive. Leave it where it belongs and stop disturbing their environment.” Another citizen named Hope shared her own experience and said, “I saw one just a few feet from where persons were swimming in that same water a few years ago.
