Grenada stated it has partnered with the World Cruising Club to host the 9th yearly ARC+ rally this year. The sailing experience is now fully engaged, with 100 boats set to leave Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on Sunday, November 7, 2021 to Grenada’s Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina. The situation in Grenada will fit for a more relaxed, enjoyable experience with higher confidence for the arriving crews and diverse experiences to choose from. Telling about the partnership with year-round sailing destination Grenada, MD of World Cruising Club Andrew Bishop said, “We are extremly happy to work with the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) and Camper & Nicholson’s Port Louis Marina to give the participants an exciting Caribbean experience, and also to bring fleet together for the first time.” READ MORE NEWS FROM THE CARIBBEAN HERE Grenada and Carriacou offer fully furnished marinas and boatyards, as well as beautiful inlets and coves for comfortable stays. GTA director Barry Collymore believes the ARC+ partnership signals to the world that Grenada is open and bouncing, ready to greet guests in a safe environment. Dr. Clarice Modeste-Curwen, said, “Grenada is excited to be a host to this established world-class yachting event whilst observing thorough health and safety protocols … We are looking forward to welcoming the participants to experience our authentic culture, mouth-watering cuisine, unspoiled natural beauty and splash of adventure.” READ MORE NEWS FROM THE CARIBBEAN HERE The whole rally runs for five weeks with crews fighting in Grenada expected to make landfall at Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina from the December 1 – 6. The rally will settle with the prizegiving services on December 9, 2021.

The ARC is reffered to be a sport for all types of people including families with children, crusing couples, big or modest boats, tough racers. It is believed to be more than just an ordinary boat-race.
