Grenada: Fisherman guilty of drug trafficking

A younger fisherman from the St Andrew area in Grenada has pleaded guilty to drug trafficking.
John Rogers, a Mount Sealey resident, is awaiting his sentencing.
He was discovered on Monday, 4 December, when his fishing vessel was intercepted in the Soubise area.
It contained 111 pounds of marijuana, which the Royal Grenada Police Force said was "compressed".
Rogers was taken to Grenville Magistrate's Court, where he pleased guilty.
He is due to be sentenced on 11 December, according to the Office of the Commissioner of Police.
