While announcing the development, the Government said that, “The general public is hereby informed that effective Monday, April 15, 2024, the wholesale and retail prices of petroleum products in the Commonwealth of Dominica shall be fixed at new prices.”

Dominica announces fuel price adjustments effective today

The Government of Dominica has announced changes to the wholesale and retail prices of petroleum products, which will take effect on Monday.

While announcing the development, the Government said that, “The general public is hereby informed that effective Monday, April 15, 2024, the wholesale and retail prices of petroleum products in the Commonwealth of Dominica shall be fixed at new prices.

According to the information, the new wholesale price of High Sulphur Diesel has been set at $13.20 per gallon while the retail price has been set at $14.20 per gallon, which is an increase from $13.41 per gallon.

The wholesale price of Gasoline has been set at $15.34 per gallon, while the retail price is confirmed at $16.34, an increase of $2.43 per gallon.

Meanwhile, the prices of Kerosene has also witnessed a slight increase from $11.32 per gallon to $12.10 per gallon. The complete list of new fuel prices is as follows: Gasoline Wholesale Price - $15.34 per gallon Retail Price - $16.34 per gallon High Sulphur Diesel Wholesale Price - $13.20 per gallon Retail Price - $14.20 per gallon Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel Wholesale Price - $13.87 per gallon Retail Price - $14.87 per gallon Kerosene Wholesale Price - $11.62 per gallon Retail Price - $12.10 per gallon It is to be noted that the changes in the prices of petroleum products were done after a review of prices for the current regulatory cycle. The government of Dominica has reiterated its dedication to continue to execute measures to mitigate inflation and curb the effects of adverse market forces on consumers.

In addition to this, the changes in prices of the petroleum products has been made almost after four months, showing the Government’s dedication to allow the citizens and residents enjoy the benefits of reduced prices for a longer period of time than usual.
