She has been identified as Shekel Rogers.
Rogers was seen helping her colleague fight the blaze. The question is, why was she unprotected fighting a fire?
According to Daily News, it learnt that there was a domino competition at the fire station at the time of the report of the fire. When the report was made, the brave Rogers, who was not on duty, jumped onto the truck and headed to the scene. Any employee who is present at the fire station at the time of the report can join their fellow firefighters on a fire. She is now an example for others to how they should do in terms of emergency no matter what situation you are in. [caption id="attachment_38186" align="aligncenter" width="271"]
