Maynard's active participation reaffirms the commitment of St Kitts- and Nevis to stay at the forefront by advancing its technological capacities. Regional leaders and experts are attending the event to put their thoughts and ideas together to plan for the region's active development of information and communication technologies. Maynard, in the past few months, has been actively involved in international collaborations in order to increase the velocity of technological development in the country. The main aim for Caribbean Digital Summit by Global Government Forum is to allow the national leaders from different countries, to discuss honestly and openly about their success stories and  lessons given by their failures. For many of the challenges which a country faces are unique for the specific country, governments around the Caribbean region must address a similar set of opportunities, risks, obstacles and decisions in their journey towards digital transformation. The Caribbean digital leaders can learn in considerable amounts from each other. The roundtable event is being organised near the Caribbean Telecommunications Union regional ICT Week, creating a highly impactful and innovative event programme for digital leaders in the region. This allows the leaders to travel to Bridgetown for five days of digital discussions and activities. These discussions will help them accelerate digital transformation and development in the Caribbean region.
