HVAC unit blamed for causing blaze

Two people have been injured after a fire broke out in the Trump Tower building in New York.
About 84 firefighters were at the scene to battle the blaze, and video footage captured smoke billowing from the top of the luxury block.
Initial reports suggested one person was seriously injured, but the New York Fire Department later confirmed on Twitter that a civilian and a firefighter sustained minor injuries.
"Our units got up there quickly, we got water on the fire," Manhattan borough commander, assistant chief Roger Sakowich said, adding that in current cold temperatures the blaze created more smoke and steam than flame.
Footage from the scene showed a street packed with fire engines and it was reported that 26 units attended the scene.
The 58-storey Trump Tower, which houses apartments and office space, had been Donald Trump's primary residence before he became President of the United States last year.
Eric Trump, Donald Trump's son and the executive vice president of the Trump organisation, tweeted that the blaze had been caused by a small electrical fire in the cooling tower of the building's roof.
"The New York Fire Department was here within minutes and did an incredible job," he said.
The Fire Department also tweeted that a fire in a heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit (HVAC) on the roof of Trump Tower was "under control".
Built in the 1980s, the Trump Tower sits at the heart of Manhattan and contains multi-million dollar apartments, owned and occupied by the super-wealthy, as well as commercial businesses.
