Barack Obama campaigns for Biden in Pennsylvania, takes a dig at Trump

Thursday, 22nd October 2020

With fewer than two weeks to go before Presidential Election Day, former U.S. President Barack Obama campaigned in Pennsylvania for his former Vice President and Democratic candidate Joe Biden.

At a drive-in rally in Philadelphia, Mr Obama passed a passionate address, in which he portrayed a photograph of a profoundly dysfunctional President-Donald Trump, and his weak administration while he obtained a character and policy-based evidence for a Biden-Harris performance.

Barack Obama stated that Donald Trump was not impressed in the office and was practising the position as a reality program to get recognition.

Obama scrutinised Trump’s administration of the coronavirus pandemic, stating at least 2,22,000 Americans had lost their lives while millions of people lost their jobs and 1,00,000 small business terminated.

He corresponded South Korea and Canada’s administration of the pandemic to the U.S.’, which has been far more serious in terms of death and viruses than the other two countries in question.

“Donald Trump desires to take complete praise for the economy he acquired and no liability for the pandemic he neglected,” Obama said.

Furthermore, Barack Obama targeted Trump for holding a bank account in China. The New York Times had published earlier this week that Trump International Hotels maintained an account in China.“We know that he proceeds to do trading with China because he's got a mysterious Chinese bank account. “Listen, can you believe if I had had a confidential Chinese bank account when I was operating for re-election? You think Fox News might have been a little concerned about that? They would've called me ‘Beijing Barry’,” Mr. Obama told the audience at the rally.

Obama endorsed Joe Biden’s personality, stating he had compassion and decency. He criticised the Republicans for abolishing and not restoring the Affordable Care Act ( “Obamacare”) and told Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris would extend Medicare and create new and more jobs as part of Biden’s $ 2 trillion climate policy.
