King had then all of a sudden run into encompassing bushland and may have been "bewildered and become lost", they included.
Search teams had scoured the site, situated close to the Twelve Apostles waterfront visitor site, since Sunday.
Officials said the hunt was troublesome on account of the thick vegetation, rough clifftops and deep beachfront waters in the district.
A report will be set up for the coroner, police said.
