Trinidad and Tobago: After 3-days of search, missing woman found dead
The 3days search to find a missing woman Anneicia Lewis ended after the police officials discovered her dead body from Diego Martin River.

As per reports, the police received information about a dead body floating on water and Trinidad and Tobago Police Coastal and Riverine Unit went ahead. The body was found on Sunday morning at around 6:50 am from the southwest of the Bagatelle River near the La Riviera Towers Westmoorings. The deceased's brother, Abbion Phillip, assisted the police in identifying the body.

They said at a press briefing that she went for a walk along tracks leading to the falls in Palmiste Fund, but the have rainfall made things extremely difficult. As the downpour increase, police said Lewis decided to turn around and get out because of the rising water. She never returned home. Police suspects she drowned because the road had become slippery, however further investigations are undergoing to find if there is any foul-play involved. [caption id="attachment_37409" align="aligncenter" width="374"] Volunteers during the search operation[/caption]A search party was formed, consisting of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) Air Support Unit, Coastal and Riverine Unit, Cyber Crime Unit, the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service Santa Cruz Search and Rescue Unit in the Trinidad and Tobago Defense Force consisted of Camp Ogden.
Additional help was provided by volunteer family members, friends, villagers, fishermen. The search area involved crazy and mountainous terrain in front of the back Palmiste Road, Diego Martin and the entire Diego Martin River and banks from mountain to ocean.Latest
