Griffith said the NTA appreciates the opportunity to share its philosophy and the genesis of our formation with stakeholders in Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean and North America.
"Since the NTA's announcement on Saturday 30th April 2022, almost every media house in Trinidad and Tobago has contacted us, as well as several regionally and internationally," he stated.
He stated the media houses afforded the NTA the opportunity to reach hundreds of thousands of persons outside of the country's shores.
"The NTA thanks CEEN TV Jamaica, RIDEALONG Live in Brooklyn, New York and WZYE TV in New Jersey for the enthusiastic conversations with their respective audiences, and we look forward to speaking with the many others who are contacting us from around the region, the US and Canada.," said Griffith.
The leader of the NTA stated that every interaction speaks to the way the NTA is seen by those outside the T&T borders, and their interest is well founded, as the party not only understands the role it will play as a catalyst for national transformation but also as unifiers with a different model of governance, and a movement with a responsibility to the diaspora, as well as regional and international brothers and sisters.
Guided by the philosophy of a belief in strength in unity and sharing expertise, interim political leader of the NTA, Gary Griffith, held a strategic meeting a few weeks ago with the heads of the protective services in Guyana, inclusive of the Minister of Home Affairs, to share his expertise on the techniques and systems used by Griffith to achieve the record reductions in crime that Trinidad and Tobago saw in the second half of Griffith's three-year contract with the TTPS."Embracing regional integration and assisting the regional neighbours is a core element of NTA governance, as this approach fosters reciprocation by way of opportunities for T&T nationals across the region and assures regional cooperation in the battle against criminal elements, including those elements with a multi-national footprint," he stated.
