A woman fell very sick immediately after she consumed a burger from a restaurant in Port Zante, St Kitts and Nevis. St Kitts and Nevis Times reported that an ambulance had to be called as the condition of the woman got extremely bad.

The hospital staff reported she had caught some sort of food poisoning. The victim confirmed the burger contained "red cockroaches."

St Kitts and Nevis Times reported that a lady went to eat at A newly opened popular Bar and Restaurant on Port Zante.

"Truth be told, we can't identify the establishment at this point. She bought and ate a burger. After eating the burger, she said she immediately got very sick at the restaurant, an ambulance was called, and she had to be transported to JNF. At the hospital, they told her she was food poisoned, and it looked like bugs. She then said she found dead roaches in the burger, so she requested her money back from the restaurant, but they refused," the media house reported.

The woman also filed a complaint and accused the restaurant of deliberate food poisoning her.

When the owner of the restaurant was contacted, he brought his security video to show that it appears something dark which can some resemble a dead roach. He suspected that it must have been placed in the burger by the young lady herself.
