St Kitts and Nevis: Ambassador Ian Patches Liburd and the Ministry of Giving have launched its first initiative called "The Giving Closet".

St Kitts and Nevis: Ambassador Ian Patches Liburd and the Ministry of Giving have launched its first initiative called "The Giving Closet". It is an initiative that aims to cater for indigent and or less fortunate children and families in the country, in particular in East Basseterre.
Ambassador Liburd used social media to announce the launch of the initiative.
He wrote, "This month my Ministry of Giving started "The Giving Closet. This part of our mission is to support families and individuals with clothing, shoes and baby supplies for those individuals from birth to burial who are in need."
Liburd indicated that the programme will see the distribution of mainly brand new items with some gently used.
He posted photos of a few items that his Ministry of Giving Team distributed over the past weekend
Over the past 2 years, Ambassador Liburds Ministry of Giving has generously and enthusiastically handed and given massively to the people of his beloved East Basseterre. As per reports, Ambassador has easily given over $250,000 in items to hundreds of families in the Constituency where he served as a parliamentary representative from 2015 to 2020.
