Payments to the companies and employees who worked for public sector will be made soon, AG Byron
Mr Byron stated that people or companies that have completed their work for the public sector of St Kitts and Nevis would be paid in due course.

The small island nation of St Kitts and Nevis is also undergoing the COVID-19 crisis. The government continues to spread awareness about the virus in the country by carrying a daily briefing message.
Attorney-General, Vincent Byron stated that the government is taking the matter extremely seriously and actions are being taken to spread awareness about the virus in the country. Currently, there are twelve people infected; however, no patient is critical
As per the Attorney General, the government is acting with answerability and transparency.
Discussing the delayed payments of employees of the public sector, Mr Byron stated that people or companies that have completed their work for the public sector of St Kitts and Nevis would be paid in due course.
“The administration will assure that all those who have completed their job for the public sector and are owed money will be paid. We have given a very broad sense of relief to all sectors of our society,” stated Attorney-General Byron at the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) COVID-19 Daily Briefing.
Minister Byron said that persons would be informed when payment is available, particularly if all methods were done.
Furthermore, he stated that all the cheques that are due to the public would be paid from the treasury and arrangments will be made soon; however, it will not be possible during the twenty-four-hour lockdown
