People in Beijing say China is trying to control the Covid-19 pandemic with an iron fist through its "no Covid" policy. As per reports, People's Republic of China is forcing millions of people to live in metal boxes as part of their "No COVID Policy". People who have Covid-19 and even their contacts are being forced to stay in small metal boxes, the Daily Mail reported. A month from now, the Winter Olympics will be held in Beijing and as the city gets, ready, more strict rules are being put in place to stop the spread of Covid-19.

It has happened in Xi'an, Anyang, and Yuzhou. People have been isolated after a few cases of Omicron were found in these cities. It doesn't matter if the person is pregnant, young, or old; they're all forced to stay in crammed boxes even if just one person in their area is sick. According to the same report, these boxes have a wooden bed and toilet.

People might have to stay in these freezing cold boxes for two weeks. Most of the time, people are told after midnight that they have to leave their homes right away and go to quarantine centres. It is part of China's zero Covid policy, which is very strict. It's aimed at stopping the spread of the disease before the Lunar New Year and the Winter Olympics next month in China.

China's strict rules have been called out before. Recently, a pregnant woman lost her baby after being turned away from a Xi'an hospital because of coronavirus lockdown rules. People at the airport didn't let her in because her Covid negative test result came back four hours too late.
