Antigua and Barbuda: An exciting chance to study in India as govt offers 100 scholarships

St John's Antigua and Barbuda: The government of the Republic of India and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), is offering scholarships to pursue study in the country. The applicant must be over 18years and lesser than 30 to take benefit from the programme.
The Antigua and Barbuda government informed on Wednesday that students can get scholarships for studies of Indian Culture in areas of dance, music, theatre, performing art, sculpture, Indian Languages, and Indian Cuisine for the academic year 2022-2023.
As per reports, the Republic of India is offering 100 scholarships that are available under this programme globally, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
These scholarship slots include return economy class airfare to the nearest airport and 3rd AC Train fare to the place of study if so required.
It is important that the prospective applicants read the guidelines thoroughly before applying for the course. ICCR Scholarship guidelines can be viewed on the ICCR portal here .
Applicants are also advised to visit the websites of their preferred Universities/Institutes to conduct thorough research of the courses offered, eligibility criteria and general information about each University/Institute before applying for admission.
Applications are to be completed here and a passport sized photograph must be attached/ uploaded on the application form in addition to copies of all academic certificates and detailed mark sheets, school leaving examination results, certificate off physical fitness in the prescribed form, recommendations as demanded by the Universities, and licensed copy of bio-data page of applicant’s valid ticket.
Once the application is complete, students are also required to print and upload the signed copy to the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs by 27th May, 2022.
