World’s largest cruise Icon of the Seas to make 6th call to St Kitts for 2024

According to the information by Ministry of Tourism of St Kitts, the vessels which will be arriving in St. Kitts include Emerald Princess, Icon of the Seas and Rhapsody of the Seas.

St. Kitts and Nevis: The Port Zante in St. Kitts is all set to welcome three cruises in June 2024 which is usually the off season for cruises. The arrival of vessels during this period showcases the island’s continuing fame among the discerning travellers. 

According to the information by Ministry of Tourism of St Kitts, the vessels which will be arriving in St. Kitts include Emerald Princess, Icon of the Seas and Rhapsody of the Seas. 

Emerald Princess will arrive on Saturday, June 15, while the world’s largest cruise icon of the seas will grace the island’s shores on Wednesday, June 18. The luxurious vessel Rhapsody of the Seas will arrive in St Kitts on Wednesday, June 26. 

All these cruises will bring hundreds and thousands of passengers to the twin island nation, which will eventually inject into its already thriving economy. While on the island nation, the visitors patronize the various outlets at Port Zante, walk around Basseterre, and take private tours of the various tourist attractions and beautiful beaches in St. Kitts.

It is to be noted that the Icon of the Seas will be making its 6th visit to St Kitts within this year. The largest cruise chose the island for its inaugural stop during its maiden voyage to the Caribbean, making history for St Kitts and Nevis. 

This undisputed jewel of the Eastern Caribbean, St. Kitts and Nevis, recorded one of its proudest and most significant moments with the arrival of this cruise. The ship can carry up to 7,600 passengers at maximum capacity, along with 2,350 crew members.

The upcoming schedule cruise for St. Kitts during the off season is being seen as a significant milestone as it is very rare that such luxurious cruises enter the island during this month. It also demonstrates the increasing growth of the island among international travelers and renowned cruise lines.
