Trinidad and Tobago confirms 190 cases of COVID-19

As per the report, there are 5,822 total active cases in the country rise to In comparison, a total of 28,451 individuals have been recovered from the contagious COVID-19 virus.

In contrast, around 312 people are still in the hospital. The Health Ministry further notified in the report that a total of 963 patients have died on the Caribbean island as of 14 July 2021.

According to a total of 117 patients in the step-down facilities, around 123 individuals are in the state-quarantine facilities. A total of 5,203 individuals have isolated themselves at their respective homes during the coronavirus pandemic, as per the data shown in the health ministry’s report of T&T.

So far, as of 14 July 2021, in Trinidad and Tobago, a total of 227,269 individuals have received their 1st jab of the COVID-19 vaccine,whereas, in total, 144,718 individuals have recived their 2nd jab of the coronavirus vaccine and now are fully vaccinated against the deadly COVID-19.

If we look at the statistics of coronavirus testing, a total of 247,048 individuals have been tested for the deadly coronavirus, out of which 105,525 COVID-19 tests were conducted at private healthcare facilities. In contrast, 141,523 people were tested at the public healthcare facilities for the novel COVID-19.

The Health Ministry further notified in their report that the samples of these new 190 COVID-19 positive cases were taken between 11 July to 13 July 2021.
