Trinidad to close cruise season this month with Sea Dream II
Trinidad and Tobago: The bustling cruise ship season in Tobago is coming to an end this month with the arrival of three cruises in April. The island received Seabourn Ovation on Wednesday which docked at the Charlotteville port.

Tobago will receive two more cruises this month, marking the end of the cruise season 2023-2024. According to the information by the Division of Tourism, the island will welcome Celebrity Silhouette on Saturday, April 13 which will dock at Scarborough port while Sea Dream II cruise will arrive on Sunday, April 21, docking at the Charlotteville port.

While announcing the development, the Division said, “Tobago's bustling cruise ship season comes to an end this month! Check out the complete cruise ship arrival schedule for this month, docking at both our Scarborough and Charlotteville ports.”

Throughout the cruise season, the island welcomed several cruises which brought thousands of visitors to the island. Last month, the island received 13 cruises while in February several vessels arrived, showing the growth of the island among international cruise liners.

The passengers of these cruises also disembarked on the island and engaged in prepackaged tours to some of the famous tourist hotspots across Tobago. The tourism authority of Tobago said that it is aiming to make the island a premier destination for vacations.

The tourists who arrive from England, Puerto Rico, United States, Canada has always expressed their love for the island stated that they loved everything about it including soca music and local cuisine.

Meanwhile, vendors located at the shipping complex also stated that sales are going great since the beginning of the season.

In addition to this, the island has turned out to be safe than most of the Caribbean countries as none of the around 90000 cruise ship visitors to Tobago have not faced any serious crimes since the beginning of the season.

This has led to a major boost to the island among cruise visitors, with individuals relying on the robust security measures in the country.
