Trinidad and Tobago: A two-month-old baby girl, Ariel Maharaj, was found unresponsive in her crib on Wednesday morning in Trinidad. The police officials have launched an investigation into the mysterious death of the toddler.  According to the information, Ariel's parents reportedly fed her and put her to bed on Tuesday night, but around 5 am the next morning, when her parents became suspicious over the fact that she didn't cry or call out for anyone the whole night, they went to check on her only to find her unresponsive.  After finding the baby in an unresponsive manner, the parents immediately notified the emergency health services, following which the child was rushed to the Sangre Grande Hospital. The authorities reported that around 8 am, she was pronounced dead at the hospital. The officials also said that a post-mortem is expected to be held today to determine the exact cause of her death. The health authorities immediately notified the police officials, and a team of officers led by Sgt Edwards responded and initiated investigations into the incident.  Just on Monday, May 13, a similar incident took place when a five-month-old baby boy named Levi Lucas was found unresponsive at Nancy's Day Care in LA Seiva Terrace, Maraval. The incidents have caused a situation of panic across the island nation, with the authorities attempting to determine the exact cause of both deaths.  Meanwhile, social media users have also expressed their condolences over the recent incident and are urging parents to keep their newborns under their sights always.  "That's why yuh see I love to keep my new born close to me when I sleep. Crib nothing cuz anything is possible during that crucial first 6 months," wrote a user named Nyala, while another user said, "You don't put a newborn to sleep and make all those hours pass before you check on them...these babies be burping more than once and bringing up tea.RIP."
