Trinidad and Tobago to get 33,600 doses of vaccine from COVAX
Trinidad and Tobago is all set to receive 33,600 doses of coronavirus vaccine doses from the World Health Organization's COVAX facility.

Trinidad and Tobago is all set to receive 33,600 doses of coronavirus vaccine doses from the World Health Organization's COVAX facility.
As per the website of PAHO, the doses are scheduled to arrive on Wednesday. After Jamaica received the first doses from the COVAX facility in the Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago would be the second.

Suriname is scheduled to get 24,000 doses on Friday, and Guyana and Belize will get 33,600 each. Guyana's will arrive on Tuesday and Belize's on Wednesday. So far, the COVAX facility has delivered 2,213,280 doses of the vaccine so far.
Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Dr Keith Rowley declared that China has also offered the help of additional 100,000 doses of vaccine.

The announcement comes after a massive dispute between the government, opposition and also the Indian High Commission.
