'Teacher' caught with gun while impersonating cop at station

Criminologists at the Elletson Road Police Station in Kingston captured and charged an 'educator' following his audacious endeavour to imitate a cop while outfitted with an illegal gun and ammo on Thursday, February 6.

He has been distinguished as 38-year-old Troy Chambers of Killarney Avenue, Kingston 20.

Reports are that about 5:00 p.m., Chambers visited the Elletson Road Police Station and presented himself as a sergeant of police.

He was in the organisation of another man, who he guaranteed he had brought to give an announcement to the police. Chambers, who was in control of a gun, along these lines stirred the doubt of officials on obligation.

He was then approached to create his police recognisable proof card just as his gun permit, to which he proved unable.

Loads at that point admitted to lawmen that he was undoubtedly not a cop, which quickly prompted his capture and the seizure of his illegal gun – a Glock gun with 18 rounds of ammo.

On Friday, February 7, specialists visited the home of Chambers about 10:30 a.m., with a court order and the accompanying things were seized:

Fifty-eight (58) rounds of ammunition, Thirty-three (33) burned through casings, Five magazines, One handcuff, One Glock gun case, One gun permit with the name 'Carl Samuels', Two holsters, One magazine pouch, One battle belt

Chambers was accused of unlawful ownership of gun and ammo just as imitating a cop. He is to show up in the Gun Court on Wednesday, February 12.
