A former youth parliamentarian from St Lucia has been appointed to a special board for a London-based consultancy firm.
Keith Isaac will spend one year on the strategic advisory board of London’s Adam Bradford Private Consulting, who according to their website design "campaigns, projects and digital development which affects social change"
Last year the company launched a global competition to encourage youth entrepreneurship, which was backed by the UK’s Secretary of State for Business.
WIC News understands that new recruit Isaac will be expected to help develop opportunities for young people across the Caribbean and globally.
“Being a former youth parliamentarian as well as an advocate for youth development and leadership, the opportunity to positively impact the lives of young people comes with great pleasure,” Isaac said.
“I hope that through this appointment I will be able to utilise my skill set and experience to boast entrepreneurial exploits and youth development in my home island of St Lucia, the Caribbean region and across the globe.”
Most recently the organisation worked on a major behaviour change campaign to help the public understand autism and learning disabilities.
Managing Director for the company, Adam Bradford, a high profile media commentator and a distinguished social entrepreneur, said: “It is all of our jobs to make sure we invest in the next generation and our peers.
“I am grateful that Keith accepted this opportunity and his passion for improving the lives of others whilst building on his already very distinguished skill set is our pleasure to nurture as a part of our strategic advisory board.”
