St Kitts-Nevis PM congratulates those on New Year’s Honours list
Four people from the federation included

St Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Timothy Harris has congratulated four citizens from the federation who were included the New Year’s Honours list.
Today (4 January) Harris sent them an official letter, noting that each honour is “an emblem of your enduring and impactful contributions to our beloved nation.”
Patricia Anelta Hobson was made an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to education and public service.
The rank of MBE – Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire – was given to Benjamin Cromwell Francis for business enterprise and entrepreneurship, while Dr Ian Jacobs was made an MBE for medical services.
Inspector Alphonso Hendrickson received the Queen’s Police Medal for services to policing, in particular to Government House over the past 29 years.
“You have served this country with unbounded energy and enthusiasm, as well as inimitable dynamism and discipline, for a remarkable length of time, and history will forever note your dedicated years of service,” the prime minister’s letter said.
“On behalf of the people and institutions you have dutifully served, I thank you.”
