St Kitts & Nevis hits 73.8% compliance in UNESCO anti-doping efforts
St Kitts and Nevis has made a remarkable 73.8% compliance in the UNESCO Convention against Doping in Sports.

He said the Federation is now leading in clean sports compliance within the OECS (Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States).
While sharing about the progress the nation has made in the sports sector, Minister added, "About two years ago, we were at a non-compliant state of 33%, and we’ve managed to successfully enhance compliance to the current level of 73.8%, demonstrating significant progress since taking office."Further, Minister Duggins expressed his gratitude to the government of St Kitts and Nevis for their deep commitment to enhancing and facilitating the sports sector.
"Our government’s commitment to integrity in sports coupled with the significant strides made in revamping our sports governance, instilling a culture where clean sport is paramount, and ensuring accountability has brought about this remarkable shift," he added. Furthermore, while reflecting upon the transformational journey of two years, Minister Duggins also noted the intense efforts of the athletes. He said, "This transformative journey could not have been possible without the rigorous efforts of our athletes and the hard work of the Department of Sports and to you, I say thanks!"At last, he urged the community and the nation to continue to make the country thrive and flourish their clean sports Compliance in the OECS.

Here’s to St. Kitts and Nevis: Clean Sports Compliance Leader in the OECS," he asserted.St Kitts and Nevis has achieved a significant milestone in the sports sector over the years. Since the present government came into administration, the lands left over by the past governance have been used widely to create well-equipped sports grounds and stadiums.
Some major renovations, such as Kim Collins Athletic Stadium and Halfway Tree Sporting Facility, are undergoing extensive renovation. One of the sector's recently upgraded facilities is the Newton Sporting Facility opening.Latest
