This flight, E120, arrived on Sunday on its maiden flight, with Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew and other officials extending a huge welcome to the crew and passengers.

St. Kitts and Nevis: The Robert L Bradshaw International Airport in St Kitts welcomed the inaugural flight of Sunrise Airways from Antigua and Barbuda. The flight arrived on the island in rainy conditions and was greeted with a water canon salute to mark the arrival of the new regional player in town. 

This flight, E120, arrived on Sunday on its maiden flight, with Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew and other officials extending a huge welcome to the crew and passengers. 

The welcome ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, tourism officials and other special guests and it marked a momentous occasion.

The new service of Sunrise Airways from Antigua to St. Kitts will be operating twice everyday and six days a week. This exciting new route expands the already thriving Caribbean travel landscape and offers travelers a wider range of choices and increased convenience. 

As the flight arrived to the murder, Tourism Minister Marsha Henderson outlined that the arrival of the flight is a testament to the commitment of the Caribbean region to fostering seamless connectivity as well as seamless growth. 

While announcing the development on its official Facebook account, the Tourism Authority of St Kitts noted, “Exciting News! — Sunrise Airways has landed in St. Kitts on its inaugural flight from Antigua. Join us in extending a warm island welcome to the newest addition to our skies.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Denzil Douglas, called it a better day and said that this will be a huge development for the entire region.

It is to be noted that Sunrise Airways is on a mission to connect the Caribbean even further. On Saturday, the airline’s chairman and his team embarked on a mission to further enhance their marketing strategy with an influencer exchange program at their destinations of operation. 

Soca Artist and Carnival Ambassador Ezra D’ Funmachine headed out as the Ambassador from Saint Lucia to Antigua. Media personnel Mareen Alexander and Sharefil Gaillard were also invited to highlight the experience as the aircraft hopped its islands of operation, Saint Lucia, Dominica, St. Kitts, and Antigua, ahead of the introduction of commercial operations. 

Saint Lucia will recognize the inaugural flight on Tuesday, May 28, with a ceremony to mark the occasion.

As the flight arrived in St Kitts on Sunday, the citizens and residents from across the Caribbean lauded the increased airlift. 

“Glad to see more airlift and flights from Antigua to SKN.Always a great place to be,” wrote a user named Trevor Benjamin, while another user noted, “Blessings to my Birthplace of St Kitts from Canada.”
