Saint Lucia unveils Calypso Tent Schedule to take place as part of Lucian Carnival 2024

Saint Lucia: As the 2024 edition of the Lucian Carnival is gearing up to take place from July 1 to 17, the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority has released the Calypso Tent Schedule which will take place throughout the month of June. While announcing the schedule, the authority said that just like a sweet melody of nostalgia, there is something magical about the rhythms that transport everyone back to their childhood, which reminds them of the joy, laughter, and carefree moments that they cherished while growing up. "It's a celebration of our culture, our roots, and the vibrant spirit that unites us all, no matter where we are in the world. Let's keep the tradition alive and let the rhythms of Calypso, Groovy, and Power Soca guide us on this journey of love, unity, and pure Carnival magic! See you in Saint Lucia," they further added. The highly anticipated Lucian Carnival will take place from July 1 to 17, and before that, several exciting events will be held, with the Calypso being part of these events only. The complete schedule of Calypso events to be held as part of Lucian Carnival in June is as follows: Saturday, June 8 – Sunday, June 9 Groovy and Power Soca Live Auditions (Quarter Finals) Saturday, June 8 Soca, the Ultimate Tent Saturday, June 8 South Calypso Tent Quarter Finals Sunday, June 9 Gospelypso Wednesday, June 12 Tot/Soca Village Tent Quarter Finals Thursday, June 13 Kaiso Pros Tent Quarter Finals Friday, June 14 Fire One Quarter Finals The carnival will be one for the history books and will feature everything from entertainment, music, dance, food and cocktails. The various activities or fringe events for the carnival are going on since May with citizens, residents and visitors enjoying and having a time of their life with their friends and family members since the beginning of the first event.
