Saint Lucia reduces cost of 100 lb Cylinder, bulk LPG on New Year
These changes were announced on the eve of New Year on January 1, 2024. The Government approved this reduction in the prices of two products after an appropriate review of the regulatory cycle.

Saint Lucia: The Government of Saint Lucia has announced a massive relief for the citizens by decreasing the cost of 100-pound cylinders and Bulk LPG.
The new prices were announced on the eve of New Year on January 1, 2024. The Government approved this reduction in the prices of two products after an appropriate review of the regulatory cycle.
The price of the 100 Pound Cylinder (45.36 KG) has been decreased from $288.43 to $279.68 per cylinder. Meanwhile, the cost of the Bulk (Wholesale) LPG has reduced from $2.75 per pound to $2.67 per pound.
While updating the general public, the Government said that in keeping with changes in international oil prices and the Government's application of the modified market pass-through petroleum pricing mechanism, the retail price of the LPG 100 lb Cylinder and Bulk (Wholesale) LPG has changed.
Meanwhile, the retail price of Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene and the LPG 20 lb and 22 lb Cylinders remains unchanged. These price changes came into effect in Saint Lucia on Monday, January 1, 2024.
The rest of the prices are as follows:
- The cost of Gasoline remains unchanged at $3.63 per litre or $16.50 per gallon
- The price of Diesel is also the same: $3.63 per litre or $16.50 per gallon
- The price of Kerosene is also the same: $2.58 per litre or $11.72 per gallon
- The price of the 20-pound cylinder (9.07 kg) has not been changed and stays at $39.30
- The cost of the 22-pound cylinder (9.98 kg) is also the same that is $43.22
