Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley celebrated the festival of Holi with his constituents. He shared a video on his social media accounts, where he shared the joy of the festival of colours.
Brantley, in seven seconds long video posted on his Twitter, stated," I wish all my Guyanese friends Happy Holi and Happy Phagwa."
Premier Brantley was drenched in bright colours while celebrating the festival.

Holi- commonly known as the festival of colours, is an ancient Hindu festival, also known as the "festival of love", the "festival of colours", and the "festival of spring".
The festival glorifies the immortal and eternal love of Hindu gods Radha and Krishna. It also implies the victory of good over evil. It started and is predominantly commemorated in India but has also expanded to other regions of Asia and portions of the Western world within the diaspora from the Indian subcontinent.

The festival also celebrates the commencement of a good beginning harvest season. It lasts for a night and a day, beginning on the night of the Purnima (full moon day) happening in the Hindu calendar month of Phalguna, which falls around the middle of March in the Gregorian calendar.
