PM Skerrit encourages students to achieve dreams during school visit
PM Roosevelt Skerrit engaged with the students from the Baroness Patricia Scotland Primary School of Vieille Case earlier this week.

Roseau, Dominica: Roosevelt Skerrit, the Prime Minister of Dominica engaged with the students from the Baroness Patricia Scotland Primary School of Vieille Case earlier this week.
“The students have been observing Career Week and I engaged them on their dreams for the future and shared words of advice about the importance of a sound education for success in life and work,” quoted the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister highlighted that as the country was observing Career Week, he interacted with the students from Patricia Scotland Primary School. The interactions included the discussions on the dreams of the students.
Considerably, he shared his part with the students to encourage them to work hard to achieve their goals and fulfill their dreams. As well, the PM shed light on how important education is for success in life and work.
“It is always a pleasure to host our children who represent the future of our nation,” outlined PM Skerrit.
Through such words, he expressed his pleasure that he feels while interacting with the students. Children are known to be nation builders. And, this evidently says it all that the students of primary school as would follow the development, would surely contribute towards the growth and development of Dominica.
The school also extended their thanks to the Prime Minister, and highlighted that they are grateful and honored that they shared the time with the PM. And, outlined that the students would remember the experience for a long time.

Not only this, some even presented their wish to engage with the Prime Minister. The winners of the DBS reading competition 2024 of Roseau Primary School added, “That’s wonderful. Looking forward to you spending some time with the students of the Roseau Primary School. It would really be an honour.”
